About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented, hands-on PCBA Rework Technician to join our fast-growing production team. You will play a key role in assembling, testing, and preparing our hardware systems for deployment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with mechanical and electronic components, is eager to learn, and thrives in a dynamic, high-precision environment. This role REQUIRES IPC certification that includes soldering techniques and extensive experience reworking PCBA’s. Certification to IPC-A-610, 7711, 7721 J-STD-001

What You’ll Do
  • Assemble mechanical and electronic components using tools (including torque wrenches) following detailed procedures.

  • Apply staking materials for stability.

  • Use our production tracking software to track builds and workflow.

  • Execute basic test scripts and bash commands on hardware systems.

  • Record, document, and communicate test results clearly and accurately.

  • Collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot and resolve assembly or test issues.

Required Skills
  • High school diploma or GED with:

  • Some documented application of technical skills outside of the classroom (examples: extracurricular project teams, personal projects, internships, etc.)

  • Associate's Degree, Trade School certification, or equivalent, or 3+ years of experience in a professional technical role that includes prototyping and development

  • Familiarity with basic electronics lab equipment such as DMMs, oscilloscopes, power supplies, microscopes, spectrum analyzers, etc.

  • Certification to IPC-A-610, 7711, 7721 J-STD-001 (Space and Military Applications Electronic Hardware Addendum), and IPC CID/CID+

  • Ability to read and understand technical documentation, such as electrical schematics, datasheets, and mechanical drawings

  • Experience with quality control, inspection, and/or testing of products

  • Experience with IPC standards

  • Basic electrical understanding and understanding of fundamental electrical engineering concepts

Bonus (Not Required)
  • Basic understanding of electronic debugging or electrical engineering concepts.

  • Prior experience in hardware production environments (aerospace, medical, RF, or similar).
