• Responsible for marketing communications including email and direct mail correspondence.
• Develop and implement marketing communications calendar for trade show promotion, familiarization tours, sales missions and other marketing programs
• Responsible for electronic distribution of convention alerts, event invitations, client newsletters, etc.
• Update the CVB web site as directed, including developing and posting new content, slideshows, updating member listings, and working with industry partners
• Assist with development and graphic design of promotional and collateral materials and ensure their timely production to the required quality and brand standards
• Responsible for supporting the activities of a busy marketing and communications department to enhance and build upon convention marketing campaigns that enhance Cincinnati USA's image and sales
Requirements
• Education / Experience:
• BA/BS degree and 1-2 years related experience (i.e. internship or on-the-job training)
• Excellent knowledge/prior use of e-mail management software (i.e. Emma Mail, Mail Chimp, ExactTarget, Distribution, etc) and web content management systems
• Graphic design experience, including knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator
• Basic knowledge and experience in the Microsoft Office suite, especially PowerPoint, Excel and Word
• Solid writing skills
• Photography and video production and editing skills a plus
• Accountable, organized, efficient, detail-oriented
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines at the same time
