We are seeking a Principal Systems Engineer with 7+ years of experience in electromechanical systems design and a strong background in medical device development. This role will lead system architecture, electronic hardware design, and compliance efforts for complex medical products. The candidate will drive end-to-end development, ensuring performance, safety, and regulatory alignment in accordance with global standards.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead system architecture and design of complex electromechanical systems.
  • Develop and review electronic circuit boards using embedded processors, RF communications, display technologies, and pump and motor control systems.
  • Perform schematic capture and PCB layout using Altium Designer.
  • Ensure compliance with IEC 60601 standards and other regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and execute validation strategies and advanced test techniques for amplifiers, antennas, and high-frequency interconnects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across hardware, firmware, mechanical, quality, and regulatory functions.
  • Support risk management, verification, validation, and design transfer activities.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Systems Engineering.
  • 7+ years of experience in electromechanical systems design.
  • Extensive experience in medical device product development.
  • Strong expertise in IEC 60601 compliance.
  • Proficiency in Altium Designer for schematic and PCB layout.
  • Deep knowledge of high-frequency circuit design, RF systems, and embedded hardware validation.
