As a Senior Electro-Mechanical Technician for Weiler Labeling Systems, you’ll be responsible for the Electro-Mechanical Assembly of the equipment manufactured by the company.  This includes advanced rotary and in-line pressure sensitive labelers, label printers, and syringe plunger rod insertion solutions for leading pharmaceutical and consumer products companies. This is a critical role that will also be closely involved with system debugging and the Factory Acceptance Testing process.  This is a great opportunity for an experienced Electro-Mechanical Assembler to learn our business and equipment, and grow into a Production Project Leader role.

  • Lead the Assembly or repair electro-mechanical equipment
  • Decipher information from equipment manuals and schematics to troubleshoot various types of equipment malfunction
  • Team with project engineers to troubleshoot assembly, electrical, software issues
  • Perform evaluations of new technologies with potential application as a new process or as a modification to existing equipment
  • Participate in the machine project setup phase by prioritizing tasks and communicating these tasks to the cross-functional team with regards to system setup.
  • Interface with customers during visits, FATs, etc. and project a professional and positive image on behalf of the company

Base Salary Range: $35.00/hr - $40.00/hr

  • 10+ years of experience in assembly of Electro-Mechanical Industrial Automation equipment
  • Training in lean or 5S or other contemporary manufacturing techniques preferred
  • Proficient in some but not all of the following disciplines as it relates to troubleshooting: all electrical, programming, software and mechanical
  • Solid knowledge of automated packaging equipment
  • Good general knowledge of automation controls, system mechanics and setup
  • Ability to support debug efforts with production and engineering staff
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with little supervision
  • Ability to read and interpret technical mechanical part drawings and assemblies
  • General understanding and ability to read electrical schematics
