Delivery Driver 

Driver

Location: Rochester, MN 

Job type: Full Time 

License: Class D for Non-CDL pay. Class B or higher for Class B CDL pay 

Vehicle Type: Straight Truck/Box  Truck 

Schedule: 4am Start, Monday - Friday 

Non- CDL Hourly pay: $22.00 - $27.00/hr (pay increases with driving experience brought to the role)

Class B CDL pay: $27.00 - $32.00/hr (pay increases with Class B or higher driving experience brought to the role)

What You'll Do

As a driver, you play a vital role in delivering essential electrical products from our warehouse to our valued customers. Each day begins with a thorough pre-trip inspection of your delivery vehicle, followed by loading materials and packages to prepare for the day ahead. You will make local deliveries, contacting customers upon arrival and assisting them with unloading. As the face of our company, you'll build strong relationships with customers who rely on your service and support.

You will...

  • Conduct vehicle inspections at the start and end of your route
  • Transport and deliver products to customers with care
  • Unload items such as wire, pipe, conduit, and boxes during deliveries
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations
  • Maintain a friendly and courteous demeanor with customers

What You Bring

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license - Class D for Non-CDL pay - Class B or higher for CDL pay 
  • Be at least 21 years old
  • Ability to climb into and drive delivery vehicles
  • Ability to lift packages that could weigh up to 85 pounds
  • Ability to pass and maintain Department of Transportation (DOT) physical with our physician network.
  • Basic math skills (add and subtract numbers)
  • Basic English communication skills
  • Willingness to learn how to operate equipment (we provide training)
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without VISA sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred, but not required:

  • 1 year of related experience and/or training
