RVI Scranton Maintenance Electrician & RVI Scranton Maintenance Electrician Project Crew

Pay Range: $22.45 - $31.10

Duties:

Must have a complete understanding and working knowledge of 110, 240, 480-volt AC motor and DC drive system. Must be able to read and work off schematics. Be able to use all electrical hand tools. Be able to estimate and design basic electrical systems. Be able to troubleshoot and maintain electrical systems in the plant. Be willing to perform any/all other duties to maintain the welfare of the plant. Be able to install/replace conduit. Skills in the following will be perferrred: Welding, Hydraulics, Power Transmissions, Pneumatics, Fabrication, Pipe Fitting, Rigging, Mechanical Layout and Plumbing. Must have a good working knowledge of all OSHA, NEC Codes and Plant Safety Policies and Procedures. Must be able to figure and calculate wire and pipe sizes. Must be able to line up pipe runs. Must be able to calculate estimated completion times. Must have the ability to perform basic electrical work and use basic electrical tools including a digital multi-meter, wire/unwire 3 phase motors, basic single-phase terminations etc. Must have the ability to operate heavy industrial equipment such as crane, boom lift, scissor lift, telehandler, forklift etc. Must be able to climb stairs and ladders. Must be able to lift more than 60 lbs. Must have the ability to read and understand policies, procedures and regulations. Must have the ability to document information. Must have the ability to communicate with others written and verbally.

Requirements:

Must have 3 months of industrial maintenance work experience listed on application. Prefer electrical knowledge/skills or enrollment/degree in electrical field.

Must be willing to work shift A, B, C, or D. Applicants must be 18 years of age.

  • A Crew- Sunday - Tuesday 6:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Wednesday 6:00 a.m. - 12 noon

  • Former Tyson Team Members must be separated from the company for a minimum of 180 calendar days.
  • Also, if you have worked at Tyson 3 times or more you will not be eligible for rehire.
