As a Maintenance Electrician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our aerospace and defense manufacturing facility by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment. This full-time, regular position is ideal for a mid-career professional who is looking to advance their career in a dynamic and innovative industry. The Maintenance Electrician will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including but not limited to: interpreting electrical and mechanical schematics, blueprints, and diagrams; conducting routine inspections of electrical systems; installing and maintaining wiring, control, and lighting systems; inspecting electrical components such as transformers and circuit breakers; identifying electrical problems using a variety of testing devices; repairing or replacing wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand tools and power tools; following state and local building regulations based on the National Electric Code; and directing and training workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring or equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety protocols and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. You will be expected to manage your tasks efficiently without the need for travel, contributing to the overall success of Rockmart Fuel Containment operations.
