Phoenix Electrical is currently seeking to hire Electrical Apprentice in Calhoun, GA. As an Apprentice, you are a key member of our Delivery team working alongside a 25 year+ Master Electrician and other Service Technicians. Assisting to coordinate the installation, repair, and service of electric and electronic components. Your first 6 to 12 months will involve heavy physical labor. You will dig trenches, carry heavy bundles of conduit, unload trucks, sweep floors, and organize material.

Primary Responsibilities:

•       Assist with all general electrical projects and service calls. Install, maintain, and repair existing equipment.

•       Ensure customer satisfaction.

•       Show yourself as professional and knowledgeable to help win new referrals and repeat business.

•       Help maintain a clean, organized job site and service truck.

•       Proficiently use tools necessary to perform necessary task, such as meters, power tools, hand tools, and ladders.

•       Follow established processes and procedures.

•       Ensure quick, accurate repairs and installations.

•       Operate with safety as a primary concern for self and customer. Phoenix Electrical performs non energized electrical projects. All work is to be performed de-energized.

•       All projects are completed in a high workman-like manner.

•       Ensure a quality installation experience for the customer.

•       Communicate regularly with customer service and the dispatch team in a friendly and efficient manner.

•       Complete and turn in all paperwork timely including timecards, invoices, and payments.

•       Educating customers on other products and services offered by Phoenix.

Company Requirements:

•       0-3 years of electrical experience  

•       Tooling: 10 or 11-in-1 screwdriver, wire strippers, diagonal cutting plyers, linesmen plyers, channel lock 420 or similar, safety glasses and headlamp.

•       Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

•       Professional clean appearance, blue jeans no rips no tears, khaki pants, khaki shorts, athletic shoes or work boots, solid black t-shirts, and a phoenix t-shirt.

•       Must be willing and able to work full time during business hours: Monday-Friday 8am - 5pm; Occasional Saturday work available.

•       Must submit and pass a background check and drug test

•       High School diploma

•       Complete a 90-day probationary period
