Electrician Helper
We are looking for a motivated and dependable Electrician Helper to join our team. The work location will be throughout the 5 boroughs of NYC. Driving company work van(s) to and from work location(s) will be required. Our ideal candidate has a strong interest in pursuing this trade as a career and is excited to learn skills and gain experience under the supervision of an experienced Electricians. In this role you will assist the Electricians in the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems in residential properties and businesses. We expect candidates to have 2 plus years’ experience and be familiar with hand and power tools. You must be able to follow directions, climb ladders, and be willing to help with any aspect of an electrical project.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Follow directives from Electrician and Foreman.
• Carry tools and materials to and from the work van.
• Keep the work area clean during the workday.
• Sweep and or vacuum the work area at the end of the workday.
• Assist Electrician’s in installing, maintaining, repairing, and replacing electrical wiring, lighting, and other
• components of the electrical system in homes or commercial buildings, including switches, outlets and
• light fixtures.
• Assist Electrician’s in drilling holes for electrical wiring.
• Assist Electrician’s in pulling and terminating cables.
• Assist Electrician’s in installing conduit and pulling wire.
• Assist Electrician’s in measuring and cutting wires.
• Assist Electrician’s in making splices and connecting devices.
• Adhere to all safety standards and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Provide excellent customer service and build positive relationships with clients.
Requirements and Qualifications
• 2 plus years’ experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an electrical trade school or accredited course.
• Valid driver’s license required. No exceptions. Driving company work van(s) to and from work location(s) will be required.
• Construction or electrical experience a plus.
• Skills with basic hand and power tools.
• Willingness to learn.
• Can do attitude.
Communication skills: Verbal and written communication skills required. Communication skills will help you
collaborate with other professionals, explain your work to the Electrician and relay job conditions back to the
office.
