About the role
As an Electrical Apprentice at CS Erickson, you will work under the guidance of experienced electricians to gain hands-on experience and practical knowledge in the electrical trade. Throughout your apprenticeship, you will assist in installations, repairs, and maintenance projects while adhering to safety regulations and industry standards. What you'll do
  • Assist in Electrical Installations: Work alongside experienced electricians in installing and connecting electrical systems, including wiring, outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, and other electrical components.
  • Support Repairs and Maintenance: Assist in troubleshooting electrical issues and executing repairs and maintenance tasks as directed by senior team members.
  • Read and Interpret Technical Diagrams: Learn to read and understand technical drawings, blueprints, and electrical schematics to effectively contribute to project execution.
  • Learn Electrical Codes and Regulations: Familiarize yourself with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations to ensure compliance during all electrical work.
  • Operate Tools and Equipment: Learn to safely handle and utilize various electrical tools and equipment under the guidance of experienced personnel.
  • Maintain a Safe Work Environment: Prioritize safety at all times and follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries on the job.

All applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent and must be enrolled (or willing to enroll as soon as reasonably possible) in an accredited apprenticeship program. The applicable experience range for each level is shown below:
