Electricians, Junior Electricians & Electrician Helpers

High-End Residential Electrical Contractor – Suffolk County, NY

Position Overview

Established electrical contractor seeking Electricians, Junior Electricians, and Electrician Helpers to join our growing team. We specialize in high-end residential electrical installations and service work. This is a full-time, year-round position offering steady work and opportunities for growth.

The majority of our projects are located in the Hamptons and the Eastern End of Long Island, making this an excellent opportunity for individuals who reside in Suffolk County and are looking for long-term employment with a reputable company. Only Suffolk county residence need apply.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in luxury residential homes.
  • Read and interpret electrical plans, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Install wiring, lighting systems, outlets, switches, panels, and related electrical equipment.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform repairs as needed.
  • Assist with rough and finish electrical installations.
  • Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Operate and maintain company tools and equipment.
  • Work effectively with supervisors, team members, builders, and homeowners.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and jobsite regulations.

Qualifications

Electricians & Junior Electricians

  • Minimum of 2 years of electrical experience required.
  • Experience in residential electrical work preferred; high-end residential experience is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read electrical drawings and specifications.
  • Experience with Solar and generators is a plus

Electrician Helpers

  • Prior electrical construction experience preferred.
  • Willingness to learn and advance within the trade.
  • Ability to follow instructions and assist electricians on job sites.

Requirements

  • Must be local to Suffolk County, NY.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Strong work ethic, professionalism, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift and carry materials, climb ladders, and perform physical work in various jobsite conditions.
