Electricians & Electrician’s Helpers Jeremie Snyder Electrical Contracting, Inc. — Charleroi, PA

Job Type: Full-Time (Non-Exempt / Hourly)

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Overtime as needed)

Locations: Greater Pittsburgh, PA and Morgantown, WV areas

Start Date: Immediate



Position Summary: We are seeking qualified Electricians and Electrician’s Helpers for new residential home construction (single-family homes, townhomes, and condominiums). Candidates will complete field installations across all project phases—from rough-in wiring to final trim, troubleshooting, and warranty repairs. Pay is competitive and will depend on your experience and will be discussed during the interview.


Key Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, control systems, and lighting fixtures.
  • Run conduit, pull wire, and terminate devices.
  • Inspect electrical components, including transformers and circuit breakers.
  • Perform quality control testing and troubleshoot electrical issues using proper diagnostic tools.
  • Ensure all installations comply with the National Electrical Code (NEC) as well as state and local building regulations.
  • Perform warranty repair work and general electrical maintenance as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with company management, team members, and other trade personnel on-site.


Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Electrician or Electrician’s Helper (new residential construction preferred).
  • Technical Knowledge: Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and blueprint reading.
  • Tools & Transport: Must possess basic hand tools and reliable transportation to/from job sites.
  • Licensing & Authorization: Valid driver’s license and authorization to work in the United States.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, climb, stretch, pull, push, and work in crawl spaces or from ladders, extension ladders, and scaffolding.
  • Key Traits: Strong attention to detail, solid analytical and decision-making skills, self-motivated, and respectful team player.
  • Screening: Must pass a pre-employment drug test and comply with random drug screens.
