Job description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.ย  Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Receives wiring diagrams, specifications and instructions either verbally or in writing.
  2. Laying out and building of machine control panels, junction boxes, install new electrical circuits and all machine wiring.
  3. Thorough knowledge of electrical theory and PLC ladder logic.
  4. Conduct service calls of new and existing machines servicing electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment
  5. Ability to use hand tools and test equipment common to the trade.
  6. Monitor Automated Systems using a computer. Troubleshoot the automation system using various PLC programs.
  7. Responsible for conducting all work in a safe, clean and orderly manner.
  8. May perform other duties as requested and work with a team.
