Are you the electrician other guys call when they can’t figure out a problem?

At Barden Electric Inc., we aren’t just looking for someone to run conduit all day; we need a Master Troubleshooter and Field Leader who can interact with Customers.

As our Service Foreman, you will be the go-to technical investigator, diagnosing complex electrical mysteries, tracing faults, assessing motor control and engineering real-time resolutions on the fly. This role gives you the autonomy to solve critical technical challenges while mentoring the next generation of diagnostic specialists, all backed by an established, growth-focused company.

How You Will Make an Impact

  • Effective Documentation: clearly communicate findings by completing T&M/Service Tickets with detailed accurate information that is easily interpreted by others.
  • Resolve & Execute: Identify root causes and implement efficient, code-compliant (NEC/CEC) resolutions for diverse service requests and T&M projects.
  • Lead & Mentor: Supervise field crews, instilling a methodical, analytical approach to troubleshooting and safety in junior team members.
  • Effective Field Operations: Respond to daily service dispatch, maintain strict project timelines, and ensure accurate field documentation of T&M tickets.

  • Technical Literacy: Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex control schematics, detailed project drawings, and technical specifications.
  • Physical & Logistics: Ability to lift/move materials up to 50 lbs. and a valid CA driver's license with a clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • Completion of a formal electrical apprenticeship program or equivalent technical training.
  • Advanced experience diagnosing commercial HVAC controls, Motor Control systems, or specialized electrical systems.
  • A passion for mentorship and training junior technicians in the art of electrical investigation.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive salary based on experience with a weekly pay cycle.
  • Comprehensive medical insurance and life insurance.
  • Retirement plan contribution (after 2 years of employment).
  • Paid vacation (after 1 year), plus paid sick leave and paid holidays.
