Job description

ABOUT WATSON ELECTRICAL CONSTRUCTION
Watson Electrical Construction is a leading provider of electrical contracting services, specializing in delivering high-quality solutions for commercial, industrial, and residential projects. Our company prides itself on its commitment to safety, innovation, and customer satisfaction. We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Service Coordinator to join our growing team in Wilson, North Carolina.
Service Coordinator: Service Coordinators report to the Service Manager and perform assigned tasks in accordance with the policies and procedures of the company. Duties consists of scheduling work orders for the Service Manager and performing other tasks including but not limited to:
Answer phone calls for service requests and answer questions.
Monitor service email account and respond as needed.
Responsible for site work orders as follows:
  • Create all site work order tickets and small jobs related to site work.
  • Schedule site tickets using GPS, if needed.
  • Dispatch service requests to service technicians.
  • Site work order purchase orders, including issuing PO, entering packing slips, clearing invoices, and entering invoices into Spectrum.
  • Process all site work order paperwork, including, but not limited to, web portals, 3rd party paperwork, closing site tickets, monitoring status of site work orders, and pre-time entry.
  • Handle all site work order billing.
  • Maintain paperless workflow using company-approved cloud storage.
  • Run work order reports in Spectrum as needed.
  • Maintain communication with customers, including status updates and customer care.
  • Obtain permits for service work orders and small jobs.
  • Call in and/or follow up on inspections.
  • Responsible for service technicians' timesheets and payroll entry on Monday mornings.

Responsible for completing required paperwork in a timely manner
Position Requirements
Licenses: Current driver's license if required by job conditions; applicable federal, state and local licenses as required by job conditions or by the company.
Certifications: Applicable federal, state and local certifications as required by job conditions or by the company.
Education: High School Graduate, holder of G.E.D., or equivalent Watson training.
Working Conditions
  • Majority of work performed in division office.
  • Wear personal protective equipment as required in Safety Handbook if site visit required.
  • Able to work 40 hours per week, overtime as required; work out of town if needed.
