Job description

Job Summary:
New York University (NYU) is one of the top private universities in the United States, and the Tandon School of Engineering is deeply committed to excellence in teaching and learning. The research scientist will engage in original interdisciplinary research and take on a leadership role in ongoing projects while also working on efficient designs for machine learning models.
Responsibilities:
• engage in original interdisciplinary research
• take on a leadership role in ongoing projects
• engage in the research activities of their choice within the scope of NYU's SAI Lab
• work closely with Prof. Sai Qian Zhang on efficient designs for machine learning models
Preferred:
• MA or PhD (preferred) with expertise in Electrical and Computer Engineering or related field
• Excellent communication skills
• Demonstrated program coordination experience, ideally in an academic setting
