Job description

As a Foreman for JTM Electrical & Technology your primary responsibility will be overseeing and coordinating all job site functions including that of a crew of journeyman electricians and apprentices. He/She will work hand and hand with the project Superintendent to establish and adjust work timelines to meet the construction schedule for the project. The Foreman will be required to organize and coordinate all project materials and equipment. The Foreman will also be required to keep the projects on budget, on time, and in accordance with all applicable plans, specifications, codes, and industry standards. Follow and implement JTM Safety program.
Essential Job Functions

Job requires working in all elements, depending on job location, time of year, heat, cold, rain, and snow.
Must arrive to job site 15 minutes prior to start time and ready to work. Must be able to utilize construction site sanitary facilities (Porta-Johns). Job requires employee to have required personal tools with them at all times (waist tool belt as worn weighs approximately 30 lbs.). Work from all type ladders (step ladders up to 14', "A" frame ladders and all size extension ladders and carry and relocate up to 12' step ladder by one's self. Perform work at various heights, up to 50' from ladders, scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks or other safe work areas. Work in restricted areas (switchgear room, utility tunnels, crawl spaces, and attics). Wear personal protective equipment (hard hat, safety glasses, no cut gloves and safety vest/shirt at all times), respirator when required. Repetitive use of arms, hands and fingers. Able to work 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, overtime as required and night shifts.
