Job Summary:

Cinder Residuals Texas is seeking a motivated and dependable Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) Apprentice to support our experienced maintenance team at our Fairfield, TX facility. This is an excellent opportunity to start a career in industrial electrical and controls work while receiving hands-on training in a real-world environment.
 
Key Responsibilities:

·         Assist I&E Technicians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of control systems, instrumentation, and electrical equipment
·         Learn to calibrate and test basic instruments such as pressure, temperature, and flow sensors
·         Help troubleshoot control system components, wiring, and devices under supervision
·         Observe and follow safety procedures in an industrial environment
·         Assist with documenting maintenance activities and completing work orders
·         Learn to read and understand wiring diagrams, schematics, and control logic
·         Maintain tools, shop organization, and assist in equipment preparation and cleanup
·         Take directions from senior technicians and participate in on-the-job training
·         Support other Site Operations at the request of immediate Supervisor or Plant Manager
 
Qualifications and Requirements: 

·         High school diploma or GED required
·         Enrollment in or completion of a trade school, technical program, or military training in electrical, instrumentation, or controls is a plus
·         Basic mechanical or electrical aptitude
·         Willingness to learn and follow instructions
·         Good communication skills and ability to work safely in a team
·         Valid driver’s license required
 

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

·         Work is performed in an industrial facility, including time in control areas and field conditions with exposure to noise, dust, heat, outdoor elements, and operational hazards
·         May involve standing or sitting for extended periods, bending, climbing, using hand tools, and working around heavy equipment or machinery
·         Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., work at heights or in confined spaces, and perform physically demanding tasks
·         Use of communication devices or computer systems may be required, depending on job function
·         PPE must be worn and all safety protocols followed
 
Pre-Employment Requirements: 

·         Agree to Drug Screening Panel
·         Agree to a Criminal Background Check
·         Agree to attend Company’s Safety Training Program and acknowledgement receipt of such training
·         Agree to receive, review and acknowledge receipt of the Company’s Information Technology Manual
