Job description

Licensed Journeyman Electrician | Data Center | Up to $57/hr | Per Diem

X3 is hiring Licensed Journeyman Electricians for a long-term data center project. We're looking for experienced commercial and industrial electricians with strong conduit, switchgear, and commissioning experience. This is a great opportunity to join a high-profile project with excellent pay and per diem!

What You Will Do

  • Install, troubleshoot, commission, and maintain commercial electrical systems
  • Read and interpret blueprints, one-line diagrams, schematics, and installation plans
  • Install conduit, cable tray, wiring, and electrical equipment
  • Execute first-time energization (FTE), switching, AutoLOTO, and load bank connections/removals
  • Support Level 3-5 commissioning activities
  • Diagnose electrical issues and complete testing and documentation
  • Follow NEC requirements and all jobsite safety procedures
  • Coordinate with foremen, superintendents, project management, and other trades
  • Mentor apprentices and maintain a productive, safety-focused work environment

What You Need

  • Active Iowa Journeyman Electrician License
  • Reciprocal licensing accepted from AK, AR, CO, MN, MT, NE, NH, ND, OK, SD, TX, WI, or WY
  • 7+ years of commercial or industrial electrical experience
  • Experience with conduit installation, cable tray, switchgear, and electrical equipment
  • Ability to read blueprints, one-line diagrams, and electrical schematics
  • OSHA 10 Certification
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and 7-year background check
  • Must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Willingness to travel regionally as needed
