What you'll be doing:

  • Work as the senior team leader of a team of other electrical or mechanical engineers and mechanical fitters, often consisting of two or more engineers across a range of sites

  • Carry out electrically complex and detailed asset overhauls and replacements

  • Undertake complex electrical repairs and modifications dewatering equipment, pumps, pipework, valves and other ancillary equipment

  • Working under CDM regulations on projects work

  • Leading remedial work on dewatering EICA systems

  • Troubleshooting on dewatering electrical systems: filtration, centrifuge

  • Design and installation to WIMES of electrical control systems including switchgear

  • Complete wiring and cabling works

  • Carry out electrical inspections, services and repairs to customers' dewatering assets machines

  • Undertake standby cover and overtime as required as well as flexibility to work away from home

  • Complete test reports, installation certificates and customer feedback documents

  • Complete customer paperwork such as permits to work and safety paperwork

  • Please note some mechanical crossover is part of the role and the role will not be 100% electrical at all times


What we're looking for:

  • Previous experience in working in an industrial environment

  • NVQ or a recognised apprenticeship in electrical engineering maintenance at Level 3

  • BS Inspection & Testing qualification & 18th Edition

  • ICA experience

  • Full UK Driving License

  • Compex Trained

  • Confined Space Trained

  • First Aid Trained

  • IOSH Trained
