Job Description:

  • Administer therapeutic interventions, including manual exercises, stretches, balance activities, and modalities (e.g., heat or cold therapy, electrical stimulation).
  • Guide patients through exercises and functional activities, ensuring proper technique and safety.
  • Observe and document patients’ responses to treatment, progress, and any adverse reactions or changes in condition.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of treatments, interventions, and patient outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with supervising physiotherapists to provide updates and facilitate coordinated care.
  • Educate patients and their families on proper exercise techniques, home exercise programs, and assistive devices.
  • Provide guidance on self-care techniques, injury prevention, and strategies to enhance mobility and function.
  • Offer emotional support and encouragement to patients during their rehabilitation process.
  • Assist in the setup and operation of therapeutic equipment and modalities used in physical therapy treatments.
