JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objective:
The Director of Electrical Operations (TX) is responsible for building, leading, and scaling Compu Dynamics' self-perform electrical installation team in the Texas market. Modeled after the company's established Virginia-based electrical install operation, this role owns the full lifecycle of the Texas electrical division — from building the team and field infrastructure, to driving project execution, financial performance, and long-range strategic growth. The Director operates with a high degree of autonomy and is accountable for the division's safety record, customer satisfaction, quality standards, profitability, and talent development across all levels of the electrical install career track. The Texas electrical division would collaborate with project managers, superintendents, the VA Electrical team, and staff from other divisions to execute projects successfully. The division will have a specialty in Data Centers.

Directly supervises across the Texas Electrical Install Self-Perform team. As the division scales, supervisory scope will expand across all levels of the electrical install career track. Responsible for recruiting, developing, and retaining field leadership at all levels.
Work Environment:
This job operates in both an office and field environment across the Dallas/Fort Worth metro area and broader Texas market. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and copiers. It may involve exposure to potentially dangerous materials, electrical hazards, and extreme temperatures — including the heat conditions characteristic of Texas job sites. Work is often required after normal working hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit, including as a driver or passenger of an automobile; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs and ladders; talk or hear; move around at construction and other work sites; maneuver in small or tight spaces.
