About the Job

At Duntroon Quarry, safety isn't just a policy, it's our culture. We're seeking a Licensed 309A Construction & Maintenance Electrician to join our team in a full-time, hourly role based out of Duntroon Quarry, with travel to other sites throughout the Simcoe region. This position provides the opportunity to work in a dynamic industrial environment where your skills directly support essential operations. If you take pride in your trade, value steady, hands-on work, and want to be part of a team that looks out for one another, this role is built for you.

Hourly wage $40.05 - $41.05

What You'll Be Doing 

  • Servicing, diagnosing, and repairing a variety of quarry machinery and equipment

  • Conducting preventative maintenance inspections to reduce downtime and extend equipment life

  • Repairing and/or replacing wiring, equipment, and fixtures

  • Troubleshooting plant downtime and resolving electrical issues efficiently

  • Installing new equipment and supporting site improvements

  • Rebuilding electrical equipment as required

  • Researching and recommending new equipment solutions

  • Working weekdays, and afternoons as required by operational needs

Here's What You Need

  • Licensed Electrician - 309A Construction & Maintenance Electrician

  • Minimum one (1) year experience as a licensed electrician

  • Valid G driver's license in good standing

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Outstanding troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
