Commercial Electrical – Traveling SuperintendentPosition Summary

Clark Electric is seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent to lead commercial electrical construction projects throughout the Southeast. This role is responsible for overseeing field operations, supervising crews, maintaining project schedules, ensuring quality workmanship, and promoting a safe jobsite. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, extensive commercial electrical experience, and a commitment to delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget.

Responsibilities
  • Manage daily field operations on commercial electrical projects.
  • Supervise, mentor, and coordinate field crews.
  • Plan labor, materials, and equipment to meet project schedules.
  • Ensure all work complies with NEC, OSHA, local codes, and company quality standards.
  • Monitor labor productivity, job costs, and material usage.
  • Conduct safety meetings and enforce company safety policies.
  • Maintain daily reports, three-week look-ahead schedules, and project documentation.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers, customers, inspectors, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Complete punch lists and ensure timely project closeout.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent, Foreman, or similar leadership role in commercial electrical construction.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems, NEC, OSHA regulations, and construction methods.
  • Ability to read blueprints and specifications.
  • Experience managing crews, schedules, labor, and materials.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience with high-rise, hospitality, or large commercial projects is a plus.
  • Journeyman License and OSHA 10/30 certifications preferred.
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Successful pre-employment drug screen.
  • Ability to travel as required.

Physical Requirements
