Experienced HVAC Service Technician

Burgeson's Heating, A/C, Electrical, Solar & Plumbing Redlands, CA $30-$35 per hour

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, service, and repair residential heating and air conditioning systems
  • Perform preventative maintenance services on residential HVAC equipment
  • Identify system deficiencies and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Clearly communicate findings and repair options to customers
  • Complete service documentation accurately and thoroughly
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures
  • Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude while representing the company
  • Deliver an outstanding customer experience on every service call

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of residential HVAC service experience
  • EPA Certification required
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  • Valid California Driver's License with an acceptable driving record
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently manage assigned service calls
  • Strong computer and technology skills, including the ability to use tablets, navigate multiple software platforms, process payments using card readers, complete electronic documentation, and learn new systems quickly
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment and work in attics, crawl spaces, and outdoor conditions
