Job description

Position: Machine Tool Electrician
Schedule: Day Shift and Night Shift, 8-10 hours a day, 5-6 days a week.
Location: Auburn Hills, MI
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Machine Tool Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will work independently with minimal supervision, performing a wide range of electrical tasks in a machine tool manufacturing environment.Key Responsibilities
  • Perform electrical wiring of machinery and control panels from schematics and bill of materials
  • Wire and install:
    • Communication blocks and Ethernet systems
    • Auxiliary power, robots, and safety circuits
    • 480V and 24V electrical systems
  • Tie in tools and complete final dressing to controls
  • Install temporary power and bend/install conduit
  • Prepare tools with I/O blocks, DeviceNet, cable trays, and duct work
  • Verify, tag, and run cords per customer and job specifications
  • Perform electrical inspections using standard checklists
  • Follow manufacturing instructions and communicate effectively with leadership and other skilled trades
