The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing civil and/or electrical construction work in a telecom, utility, wireless, EV, or infrastructure environment. Experience with tower, line, and antenna work is a plus, but this role is primarily focused on the civil and electrical side of wireless construction.
In addition, you will:
- Oversee civil and foundation construction activities, including excavation, formwork, rebar placement, concrete pours, grounding, conduit, equipment pads, structural supports, and site preparation.
- Manage electrical infrastructure work, including conduit, feeders, grounding, power distribution, panels, switchgear, generators, UPS systems, electrical rooms, and related utility coordination.
- Support data center or critical infrastructure buildouts, including interior and exterior construction scope, cable pathways, electrical spaces, equipment areas, environmental controls, and security-related infrastructure.
- Review construction drawings, electrical plans, civil drawings, specifications, schedules, and project scopes to ensure work is completed according to design requirements.
- Coordinate subcontractors performing civil, concrete, electrical, mechanical, low-voltage, and infrastructure-related work.
- Monitor construction quality through inspections, punch walks, test reports, progress reviews, and closeout documentation.
- Ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, within scope, and in alignment with customer and engineering requirements.
- Work closely with vendors, subcontractors, inspectors, customers, project managers, and internal operations leadership to resolve field issues quickly.
- Maintain detailed project schedules, track milestones, identify risks, and communicate project status to leadership and customers.
Qualifications
About You:
- You are safety-minded and make safe work practices part of your day-to-day routine.
- You have a strong track record of completing construction projects safely, on time, and with a high level of quality.
- You are comfortable managing field construction activities, subcontractors, schedules, inspections, and customer expectations.
- You have experience managing both civil/concrete/foundation work and electrical infrastructure work.
- You have worked in telecom, data center, utility, commercial, industrial, electrical, EV, or other critical infrastructure construction environments.
- You understand civil construction activities such as site development, excavation, formwork, rebar placement, concrete pours, foundations, trenching, conduit, equipment pads, grounding, utility coordination, and site preparation.
- You understand electrical infrastructure such as electrical rooms, switchgear, generators, UPS systems, panels, feeders, grounding, conduit, power distribution, and NEC-related requirements.
- You have experience with data centers, central offices, telecom shelters, wireless sites, EV charging sites, utility projects, or industrial buildouts.
- You are able to read and interpret civil drawings, electrical drawings, construction plans, specifications, blueprints, and project schedules.
- You enjoy solving problems in the field and are comfortable troubleshooting issues as they arise.
- You are hands-on, practical, and willing to work closely with your team to help drive projects forward.
- You have experience maintaining strong working relationships with customers, vendors, subcontractors, field crews, and internal teams.
- You are proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and Project, and are able to learn company-specific systems and tools.
- You have 3+ years of construction management experience in telecom, data center, utility, commercial, industrial, electrical, or critical infrastructure construction.
