Job description

Job Summary The Sr Engineer (Electrical) is an independent contributor role that can plan, analyze and implement designs and improvements cooperatively as part of a team. This position is a technical role within the hardware development team contributing to new and existing electrical systems in Ivenix products to achieve performance goals and business objectives.
Hybrid role, Onsite 3 days per week in North Andover, MA
Salary Range: $115,000 - $135,000
**Plus Sign-on Bonus**
* Position is eligible to participate in a bonus plan with a target of 8% of the base salary (include only if applicable to the grade level)
* Final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to experience level, education, knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Design & develop analog, digital, mixed signal and power circuits used in Ivenix designed products
Build and test prototypes to verify design function
Perform and document failure analysis of returned product
Investigate new technologies and best practices
Optimize designs for low-cost, high quality, high reliability and high-volume assembly
Work with customers and/or vendors as needed regarding technical issues
Work cross-functionally with internal and external resources during design, prototyping, and transfer to manufacturing activities.
Establish engineering design documentation
Prepare technical records and files, including engineering changes
Focus design efforts around improved performance and reduced complexity
Create artifacts in support of design, redesign, prototype, and transfer to manufacturing activities
Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and /or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
* BS or MS in Electrical Engineering
* Minimum 5 years of experience as an electrical design engineer on product development teams
* 1+ years of experience developing within a regulated environment (Medical, Aerospace, Military)
* Experience designing schematics in Altium or other Schematic capture system.
* Familiarity with regulations governing electrical safety and electromagnetic compatibility and the activities necessary to achieve IEC60601 certification
* Familiarity with circuit simulation tools such as PSpice
