We are seeking a motivated 2nd–4th Year Electrical Apprentice to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience alongside experienced electricians while continuing to develop your technical skills. You'll assist with the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial and industrial electrical systems, all while working toward the next step in your electrical career.

Compensation will be determined based on the candidate's experience and qualifications.

Compensation:

$20 - $28 hourly


Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the installation of EMT, PVC, rigid conduit, cable tray, and other raceway systems.

  • Pull, terminate, and label branch circuits and feeder wiring.

  • Assist with the installation of switchgear, electrical panels, transformers, motor controls, and power distribution equipment.

  • Install lighting fixtures, receptacles, devices, and other electrical equipment according to project specifications.

  • Support the installation and wiring of motors, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and associated control systems.

  • Read and interpret blueprints, one-line diagrams, electrical schematics, and technical drawings.

  • Assist with troubleshooting, testing, and repairing electrical systems under the direction of a Journeyman or Foreman.

  • Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all company policies and OSHA safety regulations.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • This position is safety-sensitive.


Qualifications:
  • Two (2) to four (4) years of experience in commercial and/or industrial electrical work is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and electrical safety practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Proficiency with common electrical hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship and workplace safety.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
  • Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds or more and perform the physical demands of the position, including climbing ladders, working at heights, and working in industrial environments.
  • OSHA 10 certification is preferred and required within the first 60 days of employment if not currently held.
