About This Role

Are you the kind of engineer who sees blueprints and envisions entire buildings lighting up?

At Mastercraft Electric, Inc. we don't do boring. We engineer bold solutions for high-performance commercial spaces-think mixed-use, smart offices, hospitals, tech campuses, and beyond.

We are looking to bring on an experienced Commercial Electrical Engineer to join our growing team. This person will be responsible for the design and implementation of commercial and industrial projects, while working closely with the Project Management Team. The ideal candidate will show a proven ability to multitask, have strong organizational skills, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have a desire to develop a full in-house design team.


What We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience as an Electrical Engineer in building systems and infrastructure
  • Strong proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, BIM, Bluebeam, Accubid, PDF Editors, and Microsoft Office
  • Deep working knowledge of NEC, energy codes, and commercial building systems
  • Strong communicator who can work effectively with all teams, vendors and customers
  • Highly organized, self-driven, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering (Preferred)
  • PE Stamp (Preferred)


What You Will Do

  • Design and engineer electrical systems for commercial and industrial projects
  • Translate concepts and drawings into buildable, efficient, code-compliant designs
  • Collaborate closely with the client, project team, and field crews
  • Apply NEC, energy codes, and best practices to deliver high-quality solutions
  • Help lay the foundation for a scalable, in-house engineering and design group
