Electrical Foreman

About Seltrek

At Seltrek, we specialize in multifamily residential electrical construction projects that set the standard for quality, innovation, and craftsmanship. Founded in 2006 by two Master Electricians, we've grown from a single service van into one of Western Canada's leading residential electrical contractors, employing more than 150 people and completing projects across Canada.

As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced Electrical Foreman to join our team. If you're a motivated leader who enjoys building high-quality projects, developing apprentices, and driving successful job sites, we'd like to hear from you.

What You'll Do

As an Electrical Foreman, you'll be responsible for leading crews on multifamily residential construction projects while ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead and supervise electricians and apprentices on site.
  • Plan daily activities and coordinate work to meet project schedules.
  • Collaborate with general contractors and other trades to maintain project progress.
  • Install, troubleshoot, and oversee electrical systems in multifamily residential buildings.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and electrical drawings.
  • Ensure all work complies with applicable electrical codes, company standards, and safety regulations.
  • Identify and resolve construction and electrical issues efficiently.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and productive job site.
  • Communicate project updates, material requirements, and scheduling needs with Project Managers and Site Supervisors.
  • Mentor apprentices and help develop the next generation of electricians.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience leading crews as a Foreman or Lead Hand.
  • Minimum 3 years of multifamily residential construction experience.
  • Strong knowledge of residential electrical systems and construction practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and teamwork.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation is considered an asset.
