Job Summary

The Senior Electrical Engineer will work in a fast‑paced multi‑discipline team environment responsible for designing building systems and producing construction documentation for institutional projects in the higher education, government and healthcare markets. We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Electrical Engineer to be part of our firm.

In this role, you will
  • Design electrical systems including lighting, power, fire alarm, telecom and security.
  • Develop calculations for lighting systems and associated controls.
  • Develop electrical system design calculations.
  • Prepare detailed design documents in REVIT.
  • Lead a project team and managing projects.
  • Coordinate with Owners and Architects.
  • Coordinate work with other disciplines.
  • Complete code compliance research.
  • Oversee and provide guidance to junior engineers.
  • Assist in the procurement of new work; including the development of client relations.
You will be a great fit if
  • You have a minimum of 8 years design experience as registered engineer.
  • You have a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • You possess a Professional Engineer license, PE.
  • You have experience with complex institutional projects.
  • You have LEED experience, certification is desired.
  • You are familiar with codes, standards and design guidelines.
Skills/abilities
  • Excellent work ethic and attitude.
  • Interpersonal communication skills, combined with organizational skills, the ability to plan, balance and prioritize work.
  • Ability to lead a team as well as work as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Revit and MS Office.
