Electrical Engineering Technician (Contract-to-Hire) Immediate need!
Location: Scottsdale, AZ
Positions Available:3-3rd shift
Pay rate: $33.93 3rd shift plus 15% shift differential
Hours: 3 rd shift 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM typical
Position Overview
ACARA Solutions is seeking Electrical Engineering Technicians to support our client in Scottsdale, AZ. This role is focused on electrical and electronic systems within advanced engineering environments, including prototype development, testing, and validation of cutting-edge technologies such as laser/light transmission devices and specialized electronic test equipment.
This is a hands-on role working closely with Engineering and Operations teams to support electrical design, circuit testing, troubleshooting, and system integration.
Key Responsibilities

  • Support engineering activities including electrical design, testing, checkout, and modification of prototype systems
  • Build, wire, and troubleshoot electronic circuits, assemblies, and test equipment
  • Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and circuit drawings
  • Perform debugging, calibration, and validation of electronic systems and components
  • Conduct and document electrical testing and data analysis to support engineering decisions
  • Assist in development of test setups, fixtures, and electronic test configurations
  • Identify root causes of electrical issues and recommend corrective actions
  • Document results, procedures, and improvements for engineering and production teams
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development and testing
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Associate Degree.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in engineering technician or electromechanical support roles.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Solid knowledge and proficiency in the use of fabrication tools.
  • Ability to fabricate complex hardware.
  • Solid knowledge of generally accepted technical theory.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Superior communication and collaboration skills.
