Provide electrical engineering services in power system, instrumentation, and programming fields to support project work and equipment maintenance requirements. This role will support Waterville's operations in a variety of technical assignments to create innovative solutions to technological challenges.

Essential Functions

  • Design, estimate, install and startup systems in the area of electrical and process control.
  • Provide daily technical support to Waterville operations.
  • Manage capital projects related to electrical and process control systems.
  • Develop and manage preventative and predictive maintenance practices around our electrical and process control infrastructure.
  • Manager contractor deliverables, cost control and safety prior to and during project work assignments.
  • Maintain our compliance with current regulatory requirements as defined by OSHA, NFPA, NEC, etc.

Job Qualifications

Required

  • Project equipment and control system design experience utilizing PLC's.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirement defined by OSHA, NFPA, and NEC standards.
  • 3+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Project equipment and control system design experiences utilizing PLC's and DCS systems.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Strong PLC Programming background.

Preferred

  • BSEE or BSEET degree.
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with a process controls certification.
  • 5-10 years engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
