2: 6+ years of relevant experience (4 w Masters, 10 w no degree)
3: Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance
4: Hardware troubleshooting ability to component level for analog, RF and digital circuits.
5: Ability to design and conduct engineering experiments and act upon test results.
6: Ability to use typical lab equipment: Oscilloscope, DMM, Spectrum & Network analyzers, logic analyzers and signal generators.
7: Able to analyze designs and communicate technical information to support staff.

We are looking for an outstanding Electrical Engineer to join a team of dedicated professionals who are responsible for supporting military communication products throughout their lifecycle.
As a Product Support Engineer, you will be tasked with investigating a variety of problems related to Analog, Digital, and RF. ( Candidates with experience in any of these areas will be considered ).
Working from our lab adjacent to manufacturing this person will collaborate across multifunctional teams to diagnose problems to component level, determine solutions via experimentation and simulation and implement corrective actions.
As an extension of design engineering, this person will have the opportunity to learn and grow while providing electrical engineering support to technicians and junior engineers.
As new products are launched this person will interface across engineering, assisting with root cause analysis, troubleshooting of prototypes and ensuring a successful launch into full-rate production.

DESIRED (not required) SKILLS:
:: Experience with tactical radios
:: Experience reading schematics and datasheets, probing circuits and understanding proper circuit operation.
:: Troubleshoot circuit assemblies to component level
:: Ability to select alternate electronic components and know what testing is required to qualify them.

Duties and Responsibilities
== Monitoring daily factory yields, investigating failures, and determining corrective actions.
== Mitigating component shortages through selecting and qualifying alternatives or redesigning circuits and sub-assemblies.
== Determining design, process, and test improvements to increase test yields and product quality.
== Working as part of a cross-functional team to meet manufacturability, testability and other DFx requirements for volume production.
== Working with other engineering teams to make necessary circuit changes prior to and during the launch of new products.
== Working to mitigate component obsolescence throughout the product lifecycle.
== Provide guidance to junior staff by providing assistance as they investigate problems.
== Lead investigations, coordinate tasks, and direct junior staff as required.
== Work with Quality and Supply Chain to address material discrepancies.
== Troubleshooting unit, modules, and boards to the component level.
== Support digital and related analog hardware designs.
== Perform detailed analysis of analog, digital and/or RF circuitry.
