Electrical Engineer II (Contract) (Chantilly, VA area) Description *Top Skills/Experience the hiring manager is looking for: *Building Ruggedized Servers *Understanding high speed signals and signal characteristics *3-5 years of experience *This role is more of hybrid role between electronics engineering and system integration. *Candidate will be hands on and work closely with integration teams- mechanical software, with the production teams and Product Engineers. Technical Skills: *Proficiency in electrical circuit design, analysis, and simulation software. *Practical experience with electrical testing equipment and familiarity with manufacturing processes is a plus. *Experience with Building Ruggedized Servers and Understanding high speed signals and signal characteristics are “plusses” *Knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations. *Familiarity with CAD software for creating schematics and layouts. *Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve electrical engineering issues. *Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex technical concepts effectively. *Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail in designing, testing, and documenting electrical systems. *Ability to identify potential risks or errors and implement appropriate measures. *Time Management: Effective time management and organizational skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Qualifications: *Education: A bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is typically required. *U.S. Citizen. Technical Documentation: Prepare detailed technical documentation, including specifications, schematics, diagrams, and test reports.
