We are currently seeking an Electrical Engineer who has familiarity with military and commercial design standards.  As an Electrical Engineer within Combat Mission Systems, your work will have an immediate impact as you will directly support the development, testing, fabrication, and fielding of highly complex military equipment.  

Once hired, you'll work under general direction of a project engineering lead to perform
electrical system design on a variety of military systems, ranging from combat vehicles, gun systems,
and guided munitions.  You'll be involved in researching, planning, designing, developing, modifying, and evaluating electronic and electrical systems and components.  We'll look to you for detailed engineering analysis of components, subsystems, and systems for military product application. Day to day, you'll utilize advanced modeling and analysis tools to develop product specifications, models, simulations, technical data packages, and integration and verification procedures. More senior candidates may evaluate vendor capabilities, technologies, services and their ability to deliver required products or services. 

To be successful in this role, you'll need:
  • US Citizenship. Only citizens can be considered for this W2 hourly defense industry contract.
  • 3+ years relevant experience with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
    or related field or 2+ years with a Master's degree
  • Relevant Experience must include:
    • analog and digital circuit design and analysis
    • development of technical documentation - (drawings, reports, & technical analysis)
    • creating, reading, and comprehending schematics and interconnect drawings. 
    • performing circuit simulation (PSpice or LTspice)
  • Demonstrated ability to solve moderately complex technical design and development problems that require a professional level of engineering knowledge 
  • Must have ability to create and manage interface control documents.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills to convey data, information, and technical results to customers.
  • Experience with engineering design of wiring harnesses and cable assemblies for military systems strongly desired.
  • Experience with integrating Field Programmable Gate Arrays and development of electronic control
    logic a plus
  • Would like to see experience with developing and integrating power generation, conversion and storage solutions.
  • Familiarity with MATLAB, Simulink, PSpice, and/or LabVIEW
  • Familiarity with computer programming languages, e.g. C, C#, LabWindows/CVI
  • Working knowledge of OrCAD and Visio, circuit board schematic & layout tools
  • Familiarity with design for components in a high EMI environment desired
  • Systems Engineering and manufacturing knowledge a plus
