Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Combat Mission Systems team, supporting the design, development, testing, integration, and fielding of advanced military platforms and weapon systems. In this role, you will contribute to the electrical design and engineering of complex combat vehicles, gun systems, guided munitions, and other mission-critical defense technologies.
Working alongside multidisciplinary engineering teams, you will be responsible for developing innovative electrical system designs, performing engineering analysis, supporting system integration, and ensuring products meet demanding performance, reliability, and military requirements throughout the development lifecycle.
Military experience equivalency may substitute for some requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, analyze, and evaluate electrical and electronic systems supporting advanced military platforms and weapon systems.
  • Perform electrical engineering activities throughout the product lifecycle, including concept development, design, analysis, integration, testing, and field support.
  • Develop product specifications, engineering models, simulations, technical data packages, and system verification procedures using advanced engineering tools.
  • Create, review, and maintain electrical schematics, interconnect diagrams, interface control documents (ICDs), and engineering drawings.
  • Perform analog and digital circuit design, analysis, simulation, and troubleshooting using industry-standard engineering tools.
  • Conduct circuit simulations utilizing PSpice, LTspice, or similar simulation software.
  • Support electrical system integration and verification activities to ensure products meet technical, customer, and military performance requirements.
  • Evaluate supplier capabilities, technologies, and engineering solutions to ensure compliance with program objectives.
  • Collaborate with systems, mechanical, software, manufacturing, and project engineering teams throughout product development.
  • Prepare engineering reports, technical analyses, design documentation, and customer deliverables.
  • Support design reviews, technical presentations, and problem resolution while ensuring compliance with engineering standards and program requirements.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline with 3+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience designing and analyzing analog and digital electronic circuits.
  • Proficiency creating, interpreting, and reviewing electrical schematics and interconnect drawings.
  • Experience developing and maintaining Interface Control Documents (ICDs).
  • Experience performing circuit simulation using PSpice, LTspice, or comparable simulation software.
  • Ability to solve moderately complex electrical engineering design and development challenges.
  • Experience producing technical documentation, including engineering drawings, technical reports, analyses, and design documentation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to engineering teams and customers.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience designing wiring harnesses and cable assemblies for military, aerospace, or other ruggedized systems.
  • Experience integrating Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs) and supporting electronic control logic development.
  • Experience designing or integrating electrical power generation, power conversion, and energy storage systems.
  • Experience supporting the development and integration of ammunition handling systems, autoloaders, or large-caliber weapon systems.
  • Experience working on military combat vehicles, weapon systems, guided munitions, or other defense platforms.
  • Familiarity with military engineering standards, environmental qualification requirements, and defense industry development processes.
  • Experience supporting hardware integration, verification, validation, and system-level testing.
