Job description

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Senior Product Engineer. This position is ONSITE Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm (flexibility start can be as early as 6:00am) at our Fontana CA Eaton satelite office. Relocation assistance will be provided, if neeeded.The Senior Product Engineer will execute administrative, engineering/technical, supply chain & sales functions in support of the goals established for the Satellite facility’s manufacture of high-quality power distribution products.The expected annual salary range for this role is $86000 - $126000 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.What you’ll do:In this role, you will:• Prepare all drawings and manufacturing information (mechanical drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, bills of material, etc.) to ensure execution of facility goals.• Maintain positive regional client group relationships regarding technical specifications, product application, requests for approval and job site visits.• Manage Customer Quality (CQM) warranty issues with respect to troubleshooting and engineering of products shipped.• Ensure inventory and purchase orders are executed proactively to resolve all issues in a timely manner relative to the facility production schedule.• Assist with specific scheduling for Satellite/Service Center products; ensure these items are manufactured based on customer need and plant capacity levels.• Maintain good working relationships with customers, distributors, supply chain, Eaton sales personnel and internal plant personnel in support of a quality customer service effort• Provide input and/or review requests for quotations from customers• Read / interpret drawing plans, including single line diagrams, and create wiring schematics to meet customer requirements• Perform diagnostic testing and troubleshooting of electrical equipment.Qualifications:Basic RQUIRED Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited educational institution.Minimum one (1) year of product, design, electrical, or sales engineering experience in a manufacturing environment (Co-ops and internships will count towards this requirement)Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
