We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented SeniorElectrical Designer to join our team. In this role, you will assist in designing projects across various markets, including Oil & Gas, Industrial, and Water/Wastewater. This individual will be responsible for designing and drafting electrical tasks and working with Engineers, Technical Leaders, and Designers.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead the design process for complex projects such as: Design branch circuit layout,panel scheduling, grounding plans, electrical area classification plans, and powerdistribution design
  • Design and layout engineering drawings, performing drafting and design as needed.
  • Lead and mentor design teams while reviewing and ensuring the quality of engineering sketches, drawings, specifications, and related deliverables to ensure high-quality work
  • Ensure all design work complies with industry standards, project guidelines, NEC, and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with clients, vendors, and suppliers to understand their needs, objectives, and vision for the design
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to document existing conditions and ensure design integrity and quality (travel estimated 10%)
  • Prepare and manage project budgets, timelines, and resources
  • Stay updated with the latest design trends, techniques, and technologies
  • Provide technical expertise and problem-solving support throughout the project lifecycle

What You'll Bring:

  • An Associate or Engineering Degree
  • 7+ years of relevant design experience
  • Proficiency in designing in AutoCAD (Revit or Plant 3Dexperience is a plus)
  • Experience with ETAP and/or SKM Power Analysis Software isa plus
  • Experience with voltage drop calculations and appropriate cable sizing for electrical systems
  • Proficiency in NEC codes design standards
  • Ability to work independently on projects
  • Ability to specify portions of the engineeringsystems based on past experience

Salary Range:

The minimum pay for this position is $45/hour (negotiable based on the criteria presented above).
