Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be involved in various stages of solar photovoltaic (PV) projects, from initial design, through installation, to operational support.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, analyze, and optimize solar energy systems, including grid-tied and off-grid systems.
  • Carry out electrical load calculations and determine system specifications.
  • Develop detailed schematics and work closely with the procurement team to source the necessary components.
  • Work alongside our construction team to ensure the successful installation and commissioning of solar systems.
  • Conduct system diagnostic and troubleshooting, provide operational support, and contribute to system enhancement initiatives.
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders including utility companies, local authorities, and contractors.
  • Comply with all industry standards and regulations concerning solar PV installations.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations and reports as necessary.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. An advanced degree or certification in a related field is a plus.
  • At least 3 years of experience in the design and installation of solar PV systems.
  • Proficient in PV system analysis software such as PVsyst or similar.
  • Familiarity with relevant local, state, and federal electrical codes and safety standards.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and liaise with external stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
