As a Forward Deployment Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of deploying gameโ€‘changing technology to engineering leaders in aerospace, automotive, and other sectors. You'll work directly with companies that are designing tomorrow's breakthrough products, helping them accelerate their innovation cycles and achieve better designs by integrating Luminary AI's platform.

What Youโ€™ll Do
  • Pioneer Physics AI adoption by leading the end-to-end integration of our platform for customers ranging from hyperโ€‘growth startups to the Fortune 100.
  • Work closely with customers to identify highโ€‘impact opportunities and design bespoke solutions that adapt the platform to their specific needs.
  • Opportunity to travel to customer sites to provide handsโ€‘on support and work sideโ€‘byโ€‘side to ensure successful implementation.
  • Provide expert technical guidance and support throughout the customer lifecycle, from initial deployment to ongoing optimization.
  • Collaborate with crossโ€‘functional teams by translating customer needs and insights into actionable feedback for our product and research teams, directly shaping the next generation of Physics AI.
What You Bring
  • Passion for engaging customers and traveling onsite. Industrial experience in electromagnetics โ€” antenna design, EMC/EMI, signal integrity, radar crossโ€‘section, or RF/microwave engineering โ€” is highly valued.
  • Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation, familiarity with a primary deep learning framework (e.g. PyTorch), and API/SDK workflows.
  • Handsโ€‘on experience with Physics AI or physicsโ€‘informed ML models applied to engineering simulation (e.g., surrogate modeling, neural operators, or dataโ€‘driven solvers).
  • Handsโ€‘on experience with containerization, distributed computing environments, and version control systems.
  • Techโ€‘savvy mindset with enthusiasm for advanced computing and simulation technologies.
  • Selfโ€‘starter mentality with the ability to work independently and drive results.
  • Exceptional communication skills, particularly when engaging with technical audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
  • An engineering or physics background (e.g., Electrical, Physics, RF/Microwave) with demonstrated expertise in computational electromagnetics and Physics AI.
  • Experience with EM simulation software โ€” such as ANSYS HFSS, CST Studio, COMSOL RF Module, FEKO, or similar โ€” and associated workflows for fullโ€‘wave analysis, method of moments, or FDTD.
  • Familiarity with physicsโ€‘informed AI/ML frameworks (e.g. PhysicsNeMo), or equivalent experience developing and deploying surrogate models for electromagnetic simulation.
