Job description

Electrical Engineer

NVIRIQ is seeking an Electrical Engineer with strong experience in commercial HVAC systems and controls integration. This role supports the full product lifecycle—from electrical design and controls integration through validation, certification, and production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design electrical systems and schematics for RTUs, split systems, and heat pumps
  • Integrate HVAC controls including Carel, Danfoss, and VFD systems
  • Support UL/Intertek and AHRI compliance requirements
  • Interface with manufacturing and suppliers
  • Develop BOMs, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
  • Troubleshoot electrical and controls issues during development and production

Qualifications

  • BSEE required
  • 5+ years HVAC or industrial electrical experience
  • Experience with HVAC controls and system integration
  • Familiarity with UL 60335 and AHRI standards
  • Strong electrical design and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with Carel controls preferred
