Capstone Research Corporation is seeking to expand our team. Capstone Research Corporation is headquartered in Huntsville Alabama. We are a customer-oriented engineering services company providing world class research and development support across the Department of Defense (DoD): Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and Missile Defense Agency (MDA). Capstone Research Corporation is seeking an Electrical Engineer with a strong background in radar systems, RF testing, system integration, and data analysis to support advanced defense radar programs. The ideal candidate will have experience with radar operations and subsystem testing, data analysis, RF test equipment, hardware integration, software scripting, and customer-facing technical support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support radar integration and software testing activities to validate system performance and operational capabilities
  • Develop and maintain custom interfaces, test tools, and automation scripts for radar and RF systems
  • Conduct radar performance characterization using post-test data analysis
  • Create MATLAB and Python tools to analyze and visualize radar performance metrics
  • Support operation and maintenance of radar testbeds and associated infrastructure
  • Configure and operate Digital RF Memory (DRFM) and other electronic warfare test equipment
  • Perform troubleshooting and fault isolation using multimeters, diagnostic equipment, and engineering analysis techniques
  • Prepare technical documentation, test plans, and scopes of work
  • Present technical findings and performance assessments to government and industry customers
  • Coordinate test activities and serve as a technical liaison between engineering teams and customers

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field
  • 3-5 years experience with radar systems, RF systems, electronic warfare technologies or similar
  • Experience with object-oriented software development
  • Experience with MATLAB, Python, and C++
  • Must currently possess and be able to maintain an active security clearance
  • Must reside in the Huntsville, AL area or be willing to relocate
  • Must be willing/able to travel up to 25% of the year
