Unlike full-time roles, contract positions often focus on specialized tasks, such as power distribution, circuit design, or equipment testing. Contractors may work for engineering firms, construction companies, or directly with clients, and their contracts typically outline project scope, duration, and deliverables. This type of role offers flexibility and the opportunity to work on diverse projects, but may not include the same benefits as permanent employment.
