As a Manufacturing Technician II, you will be at the heart of our mission - transforming innovative designs into life-changing diabetes technology that reaches patients across the globe.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

Shift: 5:00 PM - 5:00 AM (Rotational days on a biweekly basis)
  • Devises, fabricates, installs, tests, and repairs mechanical equipment and systems involving the movement of physical components in the manufacturing area.
  • Assisting engineers with developing technical solutions related to the operation and performance of devices and systems.
  • Installs, repairs, and upgrades components of mechanical devices and systems in the manufacturing area.
  • Devises, fabricates, and assembles new or modified mechanical components for machinery and equipment.
  • Conducts quality assurance/control tests and procedures.
  • Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas.
  • Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems.
  • Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.
  • Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format.
  • Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • Requires minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Requires high school diploma or equivalent (United States), vocational or technical education or certification (all other countries).

Nice to Have:

  • Associate/Bachelor Degree (Electronic, Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology or related)
  • Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point
  • Fluent in Spanish and English
  • SAP knowledge
  • Vision System basic knowledge
  • PLC basic knowledge
  • Knowledge on the interpretation of electrical and mechanical schematics
  • Troubleshooting knowledge on electronic and mechanical components, equipment or systems.
