Sr Digital Design Engineer Scottsdale, AZ Pay Estimated: $87.87 - $92.87/Hour Ability to Obtain a Top Secret Clearance Contribute to a company at the forefront of mission-critical systems and technologies in defense and security. This leader in global defense integrates advanced technology to deliver information and insights on the battlefield, offering roles that support security and technological superiority across multiple domains. Responsibilities: * Design, develop, and test digital and mixed-signal electronic systems, including radar and communications equipment * Create and maintain schematic designs and multi-layer PCB layouts with controlled impedance and high-speed considerations * Perform signal integrity analysis, including crosstalk, timing, and noise evaluation * Integrate and support microprocessors, microcontrollers, FPGAs, and SoCs in system designs * Drive hardware validation, testing, and debugging activities * Ensure designs align with industry standards and best practices * Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers * Contribute to innovation and continuous improvement initiatives aligned with organizational strategy Qualifications: * U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law * Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related Science, Engineering, Technology, or Mathematics (STEM) field * Ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance * 8+ years of relevant engineering experience * Technical Skills: * Schematic capture and hardware design * Multi-layer PCB design (controlled impedance, blind/buried vias) * Signal integrity analysis (crosstalk, timing, noise) * Experience with processors, microcontrollers, FPGAs, and SoCs * Hardware testing and validation Preferred Qualifications: * Mentor Graphics (Mentor/Siemens EDA) tools * High-reliability or space/aerospace design environments * Worst Case Analysis (WCA) and Stress Analysis Moseley Technical Services, Inc. is an AA/EEO/Veterans/Disabled Employer What to Expect * Applicants selected for employment will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background investigation, which may include education, criminal, and work history verifications. * Accepted applicants will be eligible for benefits, including medical and supplemental insurance, and a 401(k) plan.
