In addition, the PM will support pre-sale activities including estimate creation, quoting assistance, and administrative functions within NetSuite. The PM will manage multiple customer accounts and orders simultaneously at varying stages of fulfillment.

This role sits at the intersection of sales support and post-sale execution. The PM must be comfortable navigating customer relationships, balancing competing priorities across accounts, and working cross-functionally with sales, warehouse, logistics, and engineering teams. Familiarity with how these materials integrate into solar electrical systems and an understanding of project timelines, procurement cycles, and construction sequencing will set this person up for success. Pacific Time Zone preferred. Pay Rate: $75,000 - $85,000

  • Track and manage logistics across multiple shipments and customers, proactively identifying delays or discrepancies and communicating solutions.
  • Own the RMA process end-to-end, including initiating returns, coordinating with suppliers and warehousing, tracking credits, and ensuring timely resolution for the customer.
  • Support pre-sale activities by preparing material estimates and quotes in collaboration with the sales team, using project drawings, BOMs, and specifications as reference.
  • Maintain and administer records within NetSuite, including order entry, status updates, customer records, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with sales, purchasing, and warehouse teams to ensure material availability aligns with customer delivery expectations.
  • Audit orders for accuracy, confirming that parts lists, quantities, and specifications match customer requirements and engineering documentation.
  • Provide regular progress reports and status updates to customers and Ampacity leadership.
  • Problem-solve to address shipping delays, backorders, damaged goods, and other fulfillment issues that impact customer timelines.
  • Assist with process improvement initiatives related to order management, customer communication, and systems workflows.
What You'll Bring
  • 1-2 years of project management, order management, or customer operations experience; electrical distribution or solar industry experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Working knowledge of electrical materials and components used in solar construction (wire, conduit, switchgear, transformers, BOS equipment).
  • Experience with NetSuite or a comparable ERP system strongly preferred.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills with a professional, solutions-oriented approach.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Good writing skills for customer correspondence, estimates, and internal reporting.
