Job description

About the role:

As a Electrical Designer 2 you will perform a 3D and 2D design using the most common design tools such as AutoCAD and MicroStation.

You will report to the Electrical Physical Design Manager and be located at our Rock Hill, SC facility. The position is hybrid; you will typically be onsite 2 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform a variety of design tasks in support to operation of nuclear power plants.
  • Documentation and analyses.
  • Propose design solutions regarding the internal design criteria and international.
  • Participate international project teams and communicate with involved parties.
  • Propose design solutions regarding the internal design criteria and international standards.

  • Occasionally travel to customer sites.
Qualifications:
  • 2 year Associate Degree in related discipline or its equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of applicable experience
  • Experience working with 2D electrical drawings and 3D electrical models
  • Knowledge or certificate on any of following design tools; E3D AVEVA, AutoCAD, MicroStation
  • Pasion to learn electrical design procedures and criteria.
