How will you contribute to the team. To perform this role successfully, the candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following: Coordinate the design, review, and integration of mechanical, electrical, communications, and building systems across the project.

Review drawings, specifications, shop drawings, BIM models, and technical submissions for compliance and constructability. Manage RFIs, design clarifications, design changes, and technical issue resolution. Facilitate coordination between design consultants, construction teams, subcontractors, and TTC stakeholders.

Support interdisciplinary coordination between civil, structural, architectural, and systems disciplines. Participate in design review meetings, constructability reviews, and value engineering initiatives. Track design deliverables, approvals, and project milestones to support schedule commitments.

Assist with procurement activities by reviewing technical requirements, submittals, and equipment specifications. Support testing, commissioning, and turnover planning to ensure system readiness and successful project handover. Maintain accurate design documentation and support quality assurance processes.

Ensure compliance with project specifications, applicable codes, standards, and TTC requirements. Education and Experience: Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related discipline. Minimum 3-7 years of experience in M&E design coordination, construction, consulting, or project delivery.

Experience on transit, infrastructure, transportation, institutional, or large commercial projects is considered an asset. Strong understanding of: HVAC, electrical distribution, emergency power, fire protection, life safety, communications, security, and building automation systems. M&E testing, commissioning, system integration, and turnover processes.

Experience reviewing design documents, shop drawings, RFIs, and technical submittals. Familiarity with BIM coordination and design management processes. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Revit, and common project management platforms.

Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills. Salary Range: Between $90,000 to $125,000 depending on experience. Think you're the right fit.
