Electrical Controls Designer - Alpharetta, GA
Diversified Services Network, Inc. (DSN) is seeking a Electrical Controls Designer for an onsite position located in Alpharetta, GA.
Position Overview
This role is a project-centric Electrical Controls Designer position focused on developing unique, non-repetitive schematic designs. The designer will create and modify CAD drawings, build bills of materials (BOMs), and support electrical hardware control design from concept through documentation. The individual will interact with the team on a daily basis and will train on the shop floor to gain visual, hands-on familiarity with the hardware being designed.
Team Structure & Work Environment
The local team consists of 1 leader, 2 subject matter experts, and 11 other members, supplemented by a remote team of 10 members based in India. The role is based in a friendly, interactive office environment with an assigned desk, and is professional and collaborative in nature. The position is primarily office-based, with periodic training on the manufacturing floor to gain visual experience with hardware. Steel-toed footwear is required only when visiting the manufacturing floor; prescription safety glasses are acceptable.

Education & Experience Required
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience required
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • A 2-year degree is acceptable with 6+ years of relevant experience
  • A Master's degree in relevant field is acceptable with no experience required
