Job description


Join our team and accelerate the future of automotive technology by developing cutting-edge electrical and electronic systems for global vehicle programs. As an Electrical System Integration Supervisor, you will play a key role in shaping the future of Gas/Hybrid and EV vehicles. You will design and develop program-specific electrical system schematics, leveraging your expertise in electrical engineering, wiring systems, and software development.
Responsibilities
What you'll do...
  • Lead the development of Vehicle Electrical Systems thru Technical Design Review gateways.
  • Coordinate the design and development of program specific electrical system schematics
  • Support electrical device transmittal process: VSEM GDT Set-up, DT Approvals, Create DT Status Report
  • Lead the team in the development of program specific system FMEA and DV
  • Lead a team to perform compatibility reviews to verify all module and wiring interfaces
  • Manage electrical team during Prototype Vehicle Builds (yellow board and vehicle level software flashing and configuration, Netcom message list interface, functional sign-off, troubleshooting and KOL analysis)
  • Manage the identification and resolution of system related design issues
  • Understand system interfaces to identify possible improvements and trade-offs
  • Support Quality improvement projects according to agreed targets
  • Support initial Pro page test list, vehicle configuration, end of line troubleshooting and support DTC mask list generation interface with EOL team.
  • Lead Key off Load PV testing and report out.
  • Lead the support of "Hands on" trouble shooting at VOCF across Systems interfaces
  • Lead the technical maturity and individual development of the Systems Engineering team

Qualifications
You'll have...
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Electrical Engineering, Electrical Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Science preferred)
  • 6+ years of automotive engineering experience with 2 years supporting vehicle production and launch activities
  • 2 years of experience root cause analysis and authoring well-documented 8D reports
  • 2 years of CAN-based trouble shooting
  • Ability to travel to lead team at prototype and assembly facilities - 10%
  • Must be available and eligible to work weekend hours during peak periods, specifically during prototype and launch build phases

This position is leadership level 6 and ranges from $132,800-$190,000.
Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.
